Over ten years ago, I was contemplating going back to college and getting my Master’s degree. To get to the next level in the organization I was working for at the time, a graduate degree was a requirement. My boss was encouraging me, but I kept procrastinating getting started. My children were in high school, my job required quite a bit of overtime, and I didn’t know where I’d find the time to study. All legitimate excuses, but there were just that…excuses.
Fortunately, I had great mentors and a fantastic coach in my life and I eventually applied to a university, got accepted, and enrolled! To this day, I give credit to the Enrollment Coach at the University for helping me to stop procrastinating and get enrolled in my first class. With encouragement and an accountability partner, I stayed on course and I’m happy to say I finally received my graduate degree!
It was at that time I learned the value of life coaching and how it can help you reach your goals. So much so, that I became a Certified Life Coach myself.
Are you stuck? Do you have a personal or professional goal, but you don’t seem to be making any progress? If so, consider life coaching. It worked for me and that’s why I’m passionate about giving back to others and helping them move forward.
